Had tickets for the family to this game and drove 3 hours from Greenville SC to enjoy Acuna Jr. night. We were aware of the chain giveaway so decided to get there two and a half hours early to stand in line so my son, who idolizes Acuna, would be able to obtain this prize. What an absolute disappointment, we were 5 feet from getting one when they shut it down and said ” Thats it!” no more. I realize that its first come first serve, but what really caught my eye was the hundreds of adults walking around with them hanging around their necks and kids with none. My son was highly upset and I had a hard time explaining the dynamics of such giveaways. C’mon Braves, how about limiting them to kids as other clubs do. I doubt that half those adults will keep them, where as they’ll hold a special place hanging from a childs bat and glove in his room.
